Is this the most challenging and supportive Master Practitioner Programme available in this country right now?

Hi - I'm Daryll - the NLP trainer here at noggin and I feel that this NLP Master Practitioner course is the most important that I run. Allow me to explain what I mean by that...

I would say that an NLP Master Practitioner course should 'do what it says on the tin'. Master Practitioner means Mastery of the patterns so that you can utilise them in any context at any time...

In addition, you may have noticed that many people are only able to use NLP under contrived or rigid conditions and it seems a bit false. This is unacceptable to me - NLP not a part-time skill.

I will be looking for your use of NLP patterns to become elegant (simple - less is more), artful (creative utilisation) and natural (undetectable in everyday conversation).

These are my intentions for you; I hope that you feel they are agreeable.

If so, you may be wondering what this Master Practitioner Programme looks like...Here's an overview to give you a glimpse of what you will do on the course and outcomes you can expect:

  • Develop a practical, working understanding of the New Code epistemology (the science behind NLP) - with emphasis on the content/process distinction, the use of multiple descriptions and logical levels
  • Coach high performance states in yourself and others in any presenting context using New Code games and explore the applications of these patterns
  • Utilise framing, the Meta model, the verbal package and logical levels to subtly and precisely guide the attention of others in the direction of abstraction or deep structure.
  • Induce trance and shift attention direction using Milton Model patterns and techniques
  • Develop the ability to reliably self-calibrate through heightened kinaesthetic awareness and unconscious signals
  • Explore the structure of metaphor in our everyday lives and begin to construct precise and powerful metaphors as stories or actions
  • Gain first hand experience of deep trance phenomena
  • Experience the core activity of NLP - real NLP modelling
  • Take on a real coaching scenario under supervision and receive valuable feedback
  • Deliver an engaging and inspirational speech; lead the audience and handle challenging questions
  • Demonstrate the ability to positively, quickly and directly influence an interaction such as contentious negotiation or conflict resolution

These are real, unconsciously competent behavioural skills, so on that basis, the course is experiential and the level of coaching involved is extreme. There are relatively few explicit inputs - it's mainly a process of intensive demonstration, challenging exercise and explicit feedback; adding more and more techniques as each level of awareness and competence is achieved.

If you are coming to this from another school of NLP I can offer you a methodology that is cleaner (with less content based models), more generative, easier to utilize (with multiple ways to achieve your intention). There is also a clear focus on genuinely empowering your client with awareness and self-application techniques rather than performing magic tricks on them.

A majority of the patterns covered are from the New Code of NLP. Because the New Code change format and high-performance states are so new, we still don't know the limitations of these patterns (if there are any).
