We have worked with businesses that previously designed their communication or development agenda from the top downwards and by the time it reached the front line it was not realistic. At noggin we ‘keep it real’ by designing and rolling-out from the end-user upwards. If we are looking for a change on the front line, or a particular population within the organisation, that’s where we focus our design – not on the boardroom to let it get miss-communicated downwards. If the target audience is treated like a grown-up, engages and gets great results – the rest is easy because the proof of the pudding has already been tasted!
It is also hugely helpful to brief and sometimes coach the leadership population to authentically support, and be a living example of the desired cultural change.
